Ryan Tottle is a Welsh character sculptor and modeler working in animation and visual development, with over 20 years of experience in film.

He has worked with major studios including Disney, Netflix, and Sunrise Animation, contributing to films such as Wreck-It Ralph, Frozen, Big Hero 6, Zootopia, Moana, Ralph Breaks the Internet, Encanto, David, and more.
His work has been part of three Academy Award–winning films (Frozen, Big Hero 6, and Zootopia).
At Walt Disney Animation Studios, he helped define the facial appeal, anatomical structure, and sculptural language that shaped the look of its characters.
He began his career in practical effects for film and television, working in makeup effects and prosthetic sculpture before transitioning into CG—a background that informs his sense of form, light, and physicality.
Today, he focuses on visual development and character sculpting, working closely with character designers and directors to define the look of films.
